These kids were just overflowing with personality. And thank goodness for that because I don’t know if we could have pulled this session off otherwise! They were already rained out once and it was tough to get them rescheduled. As their new session date rolled around, I was checking ALL of the weather reports hoping that ONE of them would tell me it was going to be dry. No such luck– they all said rain but I just chose not to believe them and that the meteorologists were all wrong. It’s just a suggestion after all. Anyway, that morning when I got up it wasn’t raining yet so we forged ahead. As I’m driving there, the first raindrop hit my windshield as I was pulling into the parking lot. Seriously??? But, since we were all there ready to go, we decided to go ahead and see what we could get. So we scoped out the place for anything remotely resembling shelter and got started. “Do you mind standing under this little doorway and making yourself super skinny so you don’t get too wet???” But it worked! Meet the winners of the “Go With the Flow and Be a Good Sport” award!
First, the shy little one. Well maybe not shy, but she takes just a little bit to warm up. I got a lot of skeptical looks from this one!

Next up, the total ham! He just could not get enough of the camera and loves LOVES to show off! I think I could have asked him to do just about anything for me!

Finally, the mature one. Maybe just a little past the run, jump, and be silly phase… I won’t embarrass him here, but can I at least say the middle school girls on this island can’t be that hard up!

Really, thanks for being Oh So Flexible for me! Despite it all, I don’t think it could have gotten any better. Can’t wait to show you all of them!
