I use American labs for all of my printing so the shipping times are torturous. But today I finally got a big package! Is this gorgeous or what?

It is a picture of a picture of a ring so sharp that I bet you thought you were just looking at the ring itself! Can you see the texture of the canvas? This is my absolute favorite way to display portraits. Since the holiday rush is over for me (can you say VACATION???) I’m going to start inviting myself over to clients’ houses after they hang their canvases and snap some pictures to post here. I want you to see how absolutely stunning these are.

If you’re still waiting for your order, never fear, I’m expecting lots more. Hopefully, very, very soon!

If you haven’t heard of Suzanne Somersall yet, then listen closely! You’ll want to hear this. Suzanne is an up and coming jewelry designer who is now on Okinawa. Her newest offering, the Sakura Collection was inspired by Japan’s very own cherry blossoms. She contacted me for some commercial photography work to showcase her awesome jewelry with the real blossoms that were out in full force a few weeks ago. That’s a really fun way to spice up your cherry blossom photos!

Of course she did need some more traditional product shots as well. This week I got to see all of her goodies up close and personal. A couple of my favorite pieces were the fun pink sapphire star earrings:

And since I’m a diamond girl, these caught my attention:

Speaking of diamonds, she also does custom work. At this very minute, she’s designing a new wedding set for me exactly how I want it. If you know me at all, you know how detail oriented I am. Pleasing me can be a tall order! But Suzanne has been just fabulous to work with. You should check her out at www.suzsomer.com. Tell her I sent you!
