Getting your feet wet

Water everywhere! It started pouring down rain 10 minutes into our session but I know a couple of kids who didn’t mind at all. They went running into the fountain to get even wetter! But, I just love this shot! If you look carefully you can see the raindrops. It was certainly a fun date in the rain, but hopefully the clouds will give us a little break and let us reschedule for the rest!

All Before Breakfast

My last session with the S family as they too are on their way off of sunny Okinawa! We had to try to cram this session in before O’s soccer game that morning at 9am and a second session I had to run to by 9:30. Whew! But not only did we make it in record time, we had tons of fun and came up with a fantastic gallery! I’ve said before that sometimes just the perfect combination of weather, moods, personalities, and a little luck come together for some awesome results! Plus, they already knew the drill from their previous session up there in the header of this very blog!

If we can ride this wave just a little bit longer, the canvases will be here in time for them to enjoy for a few days before they send them off to decorate their new home. I hope they make it because I want a peek at their home before they pack out!

Building sandcastles at the beach. Does it even get better?

Last session in Okinawa?

Well, last month I told you that I only had two open slots left before I left Okinawa. Those were filled and I have sadly been turning people away until I know what is going to happen in July. Namely, in what country might my address be. Yesterday, the family scheduled for May 15th called to let me know they are leaving this week for a family emergency so they need to cancel. So, I have been weighing the allure of sleeping in on a Saturday morning and taking a vacation day against giving someone out there the chance at what could be my last session in Okinawa. I figure I’ll put it out here and just let fate decide.

And this little guy really has nothing to do with my post at all, but I just never got around to sharing his session from a few weeks ago so I figured I’d kill two birds with one stone!
