Can you guess what is in this picture? It’s a wedding dress! It was all mom’s idea. She has a master plan of having photos taken every year with the baby and the wedding dress so you can watch her grow. I think it’s a brilliant idea and I was happy to get to do the very first wedding dress shots. Don’t worry, there are some others taken with a wider angle so you can see the scale better. I just liked this one though.

Baby S is just a few weeks old, but still was just a tad too old for a “newborn session”. We tried to get her to curl up and fall asleep and she looked us up and down like we were crazy! “What do I look like to you? A ONE week old? As if!” I’m not entirely certain why she has a valley girl accent in my head. But you get the picture.And we got some pictures as well. Just not the typical “newborn” ones. She’s still cute as ever though! I can’t wait to see her again on her 3 month birthday!

Talk about cutting it close. I think we have a new record for people trying to slip in family pictures before they leave Okinawa. The K family had already been kicked out of their house– but they saved picture day clothing from the packers! Two days they were gone. I didn’t even have time to finish the gallery first! But I’m glad things worked out and I at least had a slot to come out and click away that morning. The beauty of living in the digital age means that I can show you the gallery from halfway around the world. So, enjoy the “newborn” photos. I’ll never tell how old he is.
